The as-yet-untitled project will serve as Skyzoo and Pete Rock’s first collaboration together, although the Brooklyn MC did jump on a classic Pete Rock beat, “Straighten It Out,” back in 2007. No word on a release date just yet, but the project will follow up Skyzoo’s 2018 album In Celebration of Us and Pete Rock’s 2016 effort with Smoke DZA, Don’t Smoke Rock.

A joint project with Skyzoo isn’t all Pete Rock has planned for 2019; the Mount Vernon native is also dropping an instrumental album called The Return of the SP1200, comprised of unreleased beats from ’90-’98 and featuring scratches by J.Rocc.
