Stan Lee Passes Away At Age 95

The comic world remains in mourning today after the news of Marvel’s co-creator Stan Lee passing hit the Internet earlier today. TMZ was notified of his death by Stan’s daughter. They were told Stan was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from his Hollywood Hills home and shortly after was presumed dead. He was 95 years old.

Starting with the Fantastic Four, Stan Lee created Marvel in 1961 alongside Jack Kirby. They then went on to create a whole universe of heroes, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Black Panther and many more. Stan also appeared in every Marvel film released as of today, mainly in a short, comedic cameo.

Condolences to his family, friends and fans. Today, the world lost a real-life superhero.
