Cardi B is dropping music this week. The Bronx star took to Instagram on Monday (Oct. 22) to announce she’s planning to put out a new single. In the post, a picture of this week’s Hot 100 chart is seen, where Cardi and her husband Offset occupy the No. #1 and No. #2 spots. “MOMMY SHARK & DADDY SHARK 1 2,” says Cardi in celebration. “My single coming this week, Set album coming soon,” the 26-year-old reveals right after. While no specific date was given, the untitled song is expected to drop this Friday (Oct. 26). The song will be Cardi’s first new record drop since her No. 1 album Invasion of Privacy released earlier this year.
Meanwhile for Offset, the Migos rapper will follow Quavo’s Quavo Huncho debut album which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 this week. Both Offset and Takeoff’s solo debuts are expected to arrive before the year ends. UPDATE: Cardi reveals the song is called “Money,” dropping this Thursday (Oct. 25) at 12:30 p.m. EST.
