‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Finalist Found Stabbed To Death In Apartment

LONDON, ENGLAND — A singer with one of the fan-favorite choirs of reality TV was found in a horrible state. Fans are mourning her loss.

According to BBC, on Wednesday, “Britain’s Got Talent” finalist Simonne Samantha Kerr was found stabbed to death in an apartment on Grayshott Road.

The source says Metropolitan police were called to the Battersea neighborhood at 12:38 p.m. When they arrived, the 31-year-old was found with a serious stab injury. She was treated by paramedics. However, reportedly at 1:41 p.m., she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Accordingly, authorities identified the murder suspect, 40-year-old Desmond Sylva. He was arrested and will appear in Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday. The source notes that police aren’t currently looking for anyone else regarding the woman’s death.

BBC further states that an autopsy was conducted and showed Kerr died as a result of injuries consistent with stabbing.

According to the source, Kerr appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent” as a member of the B Positive Choir and made it to finals.

Interestingly, Kerr joined the choir in order to “raise awareness of the urgent need for more young and Black people to give blood.”

Kerr, a nurse at Guy’s Hospital — near London Bridge, also lost her 6-year-old son — Kavele — from sickle cell disease complications.

As for the incident, Kerr’s next-of-kin has been informed of her passing.

PUBLIC FEEDBACK

According to Sylvia Avila, she expresses her condolences as follows.

“God please protect and guide them through this horrible moment, may all of you hold on to each other and remember all the good times with her,” Avila states. “Just keep in mind God is with all of you always.”

While the majority of sensible humanity expresses condolences for her loss, there are several people showing how cowards operate. Trolls have completely shocked commentators with their responses about Kerr’s incident.

Like Justin McIntyre, who talked about her deceased son. He mentioned as follows.

“He’ll probably end up stabbing someone or getting stabbed anyway. Wouldn’t worry too much.”

He’s made several upon several disgraceful remarks via LadBible‘s post regarding the story. But he’s only one of many who have made these types of comments.

Sharon Anne Logan was quite disappointed by their comments.

“I actually can’t believe some of the comments on this story,” Logan mentions. “A young woman has been murdered and people find it funny. I pray it never happens to any of your family members. Sad days indeed.😢”

Similarly, Jonathan Diosa makes a clear distinction between viewing news offline and online.

“Online news reactions are so different from newspaper. When reading the newspaper you get enveloped in all the sad news. It starts to create a sense of depression and involvement. Whereas online news, most people just make jokes and probably don’t even read the articles. At times, people aren’t even concerned with the issue in the article as opposed to the vitriol in the comments.”

All in all, we’d like to know your thoughts about this situation. Likewise, what are your thoughts about the way trolls have insensitively responded? If you have any comments, feel free to share them via our Facebook page.
