Jeremih & Ty Dolla $ign Release Pop Art Themed “The Light” Lyric Video

With the release of their collaborative single “The Light,” Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign are wetting fan’s appetites for their highly-anticipated joint album MihTy. Before delivering the song’s official music video, the R&B hitmakers unveil an artistic lyric video.

Inspired by pop art styles of the 1960s, the clip features bold colors and fonts, including the famed Roy Lichtenstein style of dotted skin on shuffling pictures of the two artists. Picture Mih and Ty in comic book form, or just press play below.

Expected to be released in July, the MihTy project is entirely produced by HitMaka and is said to include features from Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, French Montana and more.

“We soakin’ the sheets up,” says Jeremih in regards to the sound. “It’s just real feel-good R&B music, mixed with your perfect blend of R&B and Hip-Hop.”
