The journey to Nas’ 11th studio album has been a long one. The iconic Queens MC’s last full-length LP, Life Is Good, came out six years ago in 2012. Since then, fans have been teased, until things were made official via a shocking announcement by Kanye West in June. After much patience and anticipation, Nas’ new album has finally arrived. Entitled NASIR, the 7-track project is the 4th body of work executive produced by Kanye West to drop in as many weeks. Premiered at a listening session in NYC under the Queensboro Bridge, NASIR features guest appearances by The-Dream and Kanye West.
The album comes after the Kanye executive produced DAYTONA by Pusha T, West’s own ye, and the joint album KIDS SEE GHOSTS. The final project to drop is Teyana Taylor’s untitled sophomore LP, due June 22. Stream NASIR below, courtesy of TIDAL.
